AudiModel:: A4 (B8) Audi Year: 2013. Posted September 7, 2023. Hi All, I'm having a bit of trouble with the cooling system and bleeding of which I understand is fairly well known. I have had the expansion tank replaced and did a coolant flush at the same time. Ever since, there seems to be air stuck in the system, below is the currant situation. The3.0's are very very reliable the only issues are PCV, Thermostat and Water pump but those usually go out around 80-100K miles depending on maintenance history. Take off the top hose that connects to the expansion tank and hold it over a bottle or something to catch the coolant. While the engine is at idle there should be a small trickle of coolant coming out of the hose. Have someone raise the engine rpms to 2500 or so. PartNumber: 06H121113B.
